Alicia is a freelance multimedia journalist, mostly covering stories on climate, energy, and conflict. She is working for outlets such as The Guardian, Der Spiegel, Der Tagesspiegel, Deutsche Welle, and Der Standard.
Before, she studied journalism and politics in Aarhus, Sydney, and Amsterdam and wrote her thesis in Colombia, focusing on the role perception of journalists in reporting on the conflict.
This investigation will provide context to high maternal & infant mortality rates in Sierra Leone. We explore the legacy of the Ebola epidemic, its impact on the country’s health system and what this means for new & expectant mothers.
