Biography
Hanno Charisius is a freelance science writer based in Munich, Germany. He studied Biology at the University of Bremen. He was part of the developing teams that brought the magazines Technology Review and Wired to the German market. His work appeared (e.g.) in Süddeutsche Zeitung, Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung , Die Zeit, krautreporter.de, Stern gesund leben.
In 2010/2011 he was a Knight Science Journalism Fellow at MIT and was awarded with the Peter Hans Hofschneider Recherchepreis together with Sascha Karberg und Richard Friebe.
