Mathias Tertilt is a freelance journalist, science writer and filmmaker based in Cologne. His work is published by several german print and broadcasting media, e.g. DIE ZEIT, Süddeutsche Zeitung, ARD, Westdeutscher Rundfunk, ARTE. He mainly covers science and medicine. He attended the renowned German School of Journalism in Munich and holds a BSc in Life Sciences and MA in Journalism.
The journalist will follow Bangladesh scientists to villages to explore the health effects of climate change, examining soil and freshwater quality, waterborne diseases, and access to healthcare.
